Look out for MotoCAP at events across Australia and New Zealand

Hobart

MotoCAP Chief Scientist Professor Chris Hurren will be at the Australasian Road Safety Conference in Hobart on 30 September to 3 October. He’s presenting an analysis of MotoCAP test results showing how the program is enhancing the safety of motorcycle clothing in Australasia.

Auckland

Professor Hurren will also be at the New Zealand Motorcycle Show in Auckland on 5 and 6 October. He’ll be on the Accident Compensation Commission (ACC) stand and ready to answer any questions you have on MotoCAP and motorcycle gear.

Geelong

Motorcyclist Awareness Month (MAM) in Victoria kicks off in Transvaal Square in Geelong on 5 October. Follow events throughout the month here. The MotoCAP testing laboratory at Deakin University Waurn Ponds will be open on the day for riders and anyone interested to visit and see how jackets, pants and gloves are tested. Sydney

October is also Motorcycle Awareness Month in NSW. Come along to Breakfast Torque at Heathcote Oval on 27 October for a free breakfast and to see some of the top performing motorcycle helmets.

Adelaide

MotoCAP will be at the Motorcycle Riders’ Association of South Australia Toy Run on 8 December. After the ride, come by the MotoCAP stand and talk gear with the team.
